This exhibition organised and co ordinated by the Historic Droitwich & Dodderhill Research Group has now transferred to the upstairs exhibition space in Droitwich Spa Library, and will continue until 31st October.

The exhibition features the restoration of 31 High Street - the 1400s solar range of the medieval open hall house (31-35 High Street), and includes architect's drawings; photographs of the restoration by Splitlath Building Conservation; and early photographs and history of the building. Although the solar range replaces an earlier solar, it was part of the open hall house with the adjacent property (number 33) being dated to 1340.

Members of the Historic Droitwich & Dodderhill Research Group have undertaken a Heritage Lottery supported project identifying a number of the oldest timber framed buildings to be found in the High Street and Friar Street Droitwich. Discover more on
