NEW MRATHS POSTER EXHIBITION for 2018
Malvern Radar And Technology History Society (MRATHS) is pleased to present another 30 unseen stories to Malvern’s public. Their new exhibition in the Church Walk Gallery (outside Waitrose and Wilko’s) will be opened at 09.30 by the Mayor, Cynthia Palmer and feature another interesting mix of surprising revelations:
• Find out how Donal Trump, the US president is connected with Malvern’s wartime radar research.
• Learn why a bee has a radar aerial on its back.
• Discover why RAF radar plotters were working 24 hrs a day at Malvern in 1954.
• Learn how Bernard Lovell’s radar team helped win the war against enemy submarines in 1944.
• Chips with everything - Malvern scientists worked out how to make the silicon used in electronics on an industrial scale.

The exhibition will be in Church Walk from 11th August until about the end of October. Come along, talk to us, share your memories and pick up a leaflet on our opening day, Saturday 11th August 2018.
