SIR – Green Party councillor Louis Stephen complains that he was misreported as voting for a housing development on a greenfield site when he actually voted against it.

But if he was prepared to vote according to the consequences of what he believes, he should support every new housing development.

The Greens believe in mass migration and open borders.

A  Green government would progressively reduce border controls, including an amnesty for illegal immigrants after five years.

Access to benefits, the right to vote and tax obligations would apply to everyone living on British soil, regardless of passport.

The Greens believe in a world of global inter-responsibility in which the concept of a ‘British national’ is irrelevant and outdated.

So when the Greens campaign they should come clean about this and admit that many more houses are necessary.

But they disingenuously pose as the champion of green spaces. St Stephen’s residents watch out, there are Green hypocrites about!
